On March 6th, nine student entrepreneurs from three distinguished universities—Tallinn University (Estonia), Bucharest University of Economic Studies (Romania), and Singapore Management University (Singapore)—pitched their innovative projects at a hybrid event hosted at the Estonian Business Hub in collaboration with the Social Entrepreneurship MA program and the Student Entrepreneurship Network (SEN). The dynamic session provided a unique platform for these aspiring entrepreneurs to present their ventures to an experienced audience and receive valuable feedback from industry experts.
Impact investor Leslie Hsu, who brings 30 years of corporate executive experience and international expertise, attentively listened to each pitch. By the end of the event, she decided to invite two promising projects, Banned Books and Yanantin Alpaca, into her investment portfolio. Additionally, she offered targeted support to Altimate Nutrition, committing to help them find the right connections to extend their business.

The event not only showcased the impressive talents of our student entrepreneurs but also proved the effectiveness of SEN in bridging the gap between innovative ideas and investment opportunities. Adding further momentum to our initiative, impact investor Steve Koon —an influential social innovation expert from China and Hong Kong—participated as an observer and has now decided to join the SEN network.
These outcomes highlight the significant potential of student-led enterpris in an increasingly globalized entrepreneurial ecosystem.
We look forward to expanding our network of investors and partners, and to organizing future events that will continue to empower student entrepreneurs worldwide.
