Objectives
The main goal of the project was to achieve cooperation between various sectors and stakeholders in developing the current situation of social entrepreneurship in Estonia. The project engaged with representatives of businesses, non-profit organizations, scientists, investors, representatives of banks and local as well as national-level policy makers.
Results
Memorandum of Understanding for the future creation of a new social finance instrument meeting the needs of the Estonian market. Analysis of the investment needs and investment readiness of Estonian social enterprises. Analysis of the readiness of Estonian investors to invest in social enterprises and the factors affecting it. Feasibility study of a new potential social finance instrument.
